What is Architecture with Pride?
AWP brings together the LGBTQI+ design community in the built environment – to challenge the status quo and celebrate our industry’s diversity, including walking in the 2023 and 2024 Sydney Mardi Gras Parade.

Architecture With Pride was Established in 2023 by SJB to celebrate Sydney World Pride.
The AWP collective is made up of practices across Australia and supported by the Australian Institute of Architects, the NSW Gender Equity Taskforce and the Emerging Architects and Graduate Network (EmAGN).
We have proudly supported AWP since its inception. At Turner, we are passionate about achieving an inclusive and accessible environment, for everyone. It is an amazing opportunity for our staff to walk in the iconic Mardi Gras Parade and show our support for the LGBTQI+ community in the built environment.
We encourage everyone to get on board and support an organisation that empowers everyone to express themselves.
