1-4 Capital Interchange Way is a mixed-use development, located on a landmark site on the approach into London from the west.
The residences are set within three articulated bar-form buildings. Each features generous courtyards and roof terraces that provide an outlook and active communal open spaces.
The apartments are divided between 40 percent affordable, and 60 percent market housing.
The south of the site is activated by a single-story podium with retail that addresses the game-day requirements of the new Brentford FC stadium adjacent to the site as well as the local community.
To the north, a 4-storey commercial podium acts as a buffer to the motorway.
The design draws inspiration from the existing brick buildings and street network within the Conservation area to the south, as well as the dramatic Wallis House 1930's Art Deco building further along the motorway to the west.
