Bay Central completes a decade of planning and development at Woolooware Bay. As the final stage of the Town Centre’s masterplan, it delivers 255 residences above a dynamic retail and hospitality hub, including a Quest hotel, 12 commercial suites, and a refurbished Sharks Club.
The precinct expresses a fresh coastal character, with thoughtful urban design that prioritises walkability, open space, and bay views. A rooftop infinity-edge pool, gym, communal room, children’s play areas and lush podium gardens offer resort-style amenities for residents.
Beneath the residential podium, the 18,000 sqm ‘Bay Central’ shopping centre creates a lively, all-day destination. Public art and wayfinding by TURNER’s experiential design team, and verandah-style dining enhance the atmosphere, while the surrounding parklands and foreshore link the precinct to the bay.
Across the precinct, cars are kept largely out of sight to streamline movement and encourage a pedestrian- and cycle-friendly environment. Nearby public transport connects directly to Cronulla and on to the Sydney CBD.
“The precinct was conceived as a place with a familiar, welcoming character, a connection to nature and a distinctly coastal identity.”
James McCarthy
