The Falcon & Alexander development, located in Crows Nest, is an urban renewal project located in a inner city suburb which is being transformed by the new Metro line.
Crows Nest was an important junction of routes on a ridge overlooking the north shoreline of Sydney harbour. The main roadway, Pacific Highway is likely to follow an indigenous track, and as the area grew a town centre developed at the intersection with other routes. More recently areas south of the intersection became less popular and dilapidated. The new Metro station prompted new interest in the area and was the catalyst for the Falcon and Alexander Development.
The project is conceived of an extension to the popular Crows Next Village centre to the north.
