Janene brings a depth of knowledge and experience to Turner, as well as an innate passion for sustainability and innovative design. Her interest in the environment is evident in all that she does, whether it's deciphering carbon footprints with the Turner Research Panel, or stand-up paddleboarding on the weekend. It is the inspiration for her work, from choosing natural materials to evaluating a site’s environmental context.
Having worked at Turner for over a decade, Janene has taken the opportunity to work across a variety of typologies, including residential, aged care, mixed-use, and civic projects. She is a valuable source of knowledge at any phase of the project; however, construction documentation is particularly rewarding to her – being able to see projects finally come to life.
Janene approaches her work in a thoughtful and calm manner, ensuring that her projects and relations with clients and consultants, run smoothly and efficiently. Her ultimate goal is to satisfy clients, produce exceptional architecture, and share her knowledge to motivate and build strong teams.
