Direct and efficient, yet friendly and approachable, it’s clear why Yvette is such a successful leader and architect. It is her wonderful approach of ‘steady as she goes’ that has seen Yvette steer the ship of some of Turner’s largest and most successful projects and masterplans.
Yvette tends to see her projects as ‘one of her own’ and nurtures them from inception through to completion. She loves being on site and seeing the project built and inhabited. Site provides the opportunity for her to be immersed in the project, meeting with clients, builders, and consultants, that she works so closely with from inception.
The relationship between humanity and architecture is of particular interest to Yvette, assessing how people interact with, and within, a particular site, building, or precinct. Her hands-on approach to her projects is reflected in how she grows and leads strong, collaborative teams.
