Brian’s vast work experience locally and internationally highlights his penchant for challenges and new experiences. Before moving back to Australia, Brian worked in Hong Kong and London across a spectrum of areas including aviation, masterplanning and medium and high-density residential projects, as well as the fast-paced world of multi-residential design competitions.
Having worked with Turner since 2016, the variety and opportunities offered satiate his desire to stay fresh in the industry and continue to add new strings to his already impressive bow. Brian does have a particular interest in harmonising the creative side of things with the more logical aspects. His clients’ needs are a priority, and he takes great pains to understand all perspectives and work as a collaborative and transparent force with them.
Regarding his internal team, Brian does not believe in putting anyone in a silo – he wants them to have varied and rich experience as architects. This seems like a natural approach considering his broad work history and his ethos that good design is borne from a team rather than being a one-man show.

"The Esplanade has it all. Adjoining a lake next to a shopping centre it is also a renewal of the old ice rink site. The high quality residential tower is complimented by a lower rise commercial office building over lakeside restaurants. Good architecture displays the two connected buildings appearing separate. The Judges were particularly impressed with the integration of the public waterfront and the buildings entry and forecourt. Almost fully occupied this fine development is a great example of mixed use success. It builds well on the success of Norwest mixed community."

The fourth stage of the East Side Quarter precinct in Penrith, offers penthouses, terraces and apartments anchored by a lakefront dining precinct, and complemented with world-class amenities.
The ESQ masterplan will be delivered over five stages with waterfront dining and retail, contemporary residents and resort-style amenities such as the lagoon pool.
This residential development is a direct response to both the historical context and future desired character of the Rouse Hill area.
Colossus of Rhodes is a mixed-use proposal, activated by a vibrant public domain and retail offering. The otherwise rectangular form of the tower features a distinctive 5-storey cut-out.
A mixed-use masterplan situated at the Kirrawee Brick Pit in Southern Sydney. The precinct features commercial, retail and residential spaces, and a new public park.
A waterfront mixed-use hub creating a place for the growing community of Norwest to live, eat, work and play. Esplanade offers waterfront restaurants, a retail precinct and commercial offices with views and winter gardens.
