Waterloo's character is layered, proud, distinct, and resilient, and is represented by a diverse community.
The Waterloo Metro Quarter will deliver a high-quality over-station development that integrates the new metro station with retail, commercial, community and residential uses including social and affordable housing.
Local shops, restaurants and cafes will bring life to the street and public domain, encouraging an active, vibrant, and connected area - both day and night.
The development will act as a gateway to the broader Waterloo Estate, with services and facilities that will complement the renewal of social housing and provide a diversity of housing types and tenures.
The Metro Quarter consists of the complementary development of the land above and adjacent to the new metro station to create a vibrant mixed-use precinct.
The Waterloo projects were masterplanned in collaboration with Turf, Roberts Day, Tribe and Breathe Architecture.
