Meet Martin Petru, Senior Associate Design Strategist at Turner. Martin works alongside teams in the concept and design development
stage of projects to ensure all ideas and opportunities are explored, developed and implemented.
Martin draws inspiration from the city he lives in, Sydney.
He loves that architecture directly affects how people live and often studies the built environment, how people interact with it and each other. He
is passionate about the environment and sustainability and much of his work is focused on community, public space and the opportunity
to shape the cities of the future.
Martin enjoys a challenge, and it is important for him to keep evolving and honing his skills to ensure that his projects are refined
and beautifully detailed. Some of his favourite projects are Col James Student Accommodation in Redfern, Union Balmain and 80 Waterloo
Rd in Macquarie Park, all of which bear Martin’s creative touch and clever design resolution.
