Petra’s approach to design usually begins with a contextual study of the surrounding landscape, which evolves into tangible buildings that are both functional and emotive storytellers of time and place. Her hands-on experience ensures that her projects are highly detailed, refined and delivered on budget.
Petra’s journey as an architect has led her to varying places including Dubai, where she had the opportunity to contribute to some of its avant-garde buildings, dynamic skyline and unique challenges. This experience has instilled a collaborative approach with a commitment to design excellence.

"The Esplanade has it all. Adjoining a lake next to a shopping centre it is also a renewal of the old ice rink site. The high quality residential tower is complimented by a lower rise commercial office building over lakeside restaurants. Good architecture displays the two connected buildings appearing separate. The Judges were particularly impressed with the integration of the public waterfront and the buildings entry and forecourt. Almost fully occupied this fine development is a great example of mixed use success. It builds well on the success of Norwest mixed community."

George & Allen is a mixed-use urban infill development located adjacent to the Green Square Town Centre. Intricate brickwork references the site's history.
The new civic heart for the emerging suburb of Melrose Park. Currently an isolated industrial precinct, the urban renewal project will create a fully mixed-use community with retail, residential and commercial spaces.
Phase One of the UWS Westmead Precinct, Highline provides a high-amenity residential development on the doorstep of Sydney's largest health, medical, education and transport hubs.
A multi-phase redevelopment of existing Housing New South Wales and Council lands to deliver a new park-side masterplan. Featuring private and social housing units, a network of new streets, a 'village square' and a library.
A large masterplanned community that has taken an under-utilised waterfront site with a poor urban identity, and created a highly successful mixed-use precinct.
