Tiffany Kuo
Associate

Sydney

Tiffany joined TURNER as a student in 2016 and, through dedication and steady professional growth, has progressed to leading the delivery of some of the practice’s largest and most complex projects. Over time, she has cultivated a strong grasp of the architectural process, engaging in every stage and expanding her responsibilities within collaborative, multidisciplinary teams.

Early experience in affordable housing shaped Tiffany’s commitment to socially responsible architecture, reinforcing the importance of balancing economic constraints with thoughtful, high-quality design that prioritises the lived experience of residents. This perspective continues to inform her approach to creating meaningful, people-focused outcomes.

Drawing on her strong construction background, Tiffany approaches every challenge with the belief that every problem has a solution. She thrives in time-sensitive environments and enjoys the challenge of creative problem-solving under pressure, bridging the gap between design intent and construction reality. She values practical, buildable solutions and believes good architecture should be visually compelling, durable and responsive, resulting in enduring spaces people are proud to inhabit.

Col James Student Accomm. Good Design Awards

“The architecture of the Col James Student Accommodation Building is no short of successful. The design responds to Redfern’s rich, urban conditions both past and present. Turner deserves high praise for their innovative composition of both internal and external living and communal spaces for students. They have expertly overcome many challenges including the considerable constraints of the project's complex, inner-city urban site.”
